Canterbury Health System Quality Accounts

​​​​​​​​​Welcome to the fifth edition of our Quality Accounts, now titled "WellNow, Quality Accounts Edition".

Producing it in magazine format enables us to widen the circulation to every Canterbury household cost-effectively, and it centres around the real 'people like me' experiences and stories you are used to finding in WellNow, Canterbury.

Like previous Quality Accounts, it still provides a snapshot of how well the Canterbury Health System is meeting the health needs of our community. It looks at the past financial year which runs from July to June, highlighting our successes and what we have learned, as well as our future plans.

It also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to high quality health care, our progress in continuous quality improvement, and how we monitor quality and safety.

​Distribution of Quality Accounts 2015-16

The Quality Accounts also include a section about the Canterbury DHB's performance against the National Health Targets. They have been distributed to general practice teams, pharmacists and health-related groups throughout the region.
