Deteriorating Patient Course

Aims/Purpose​To assist health care professionals to recognise the deteriorating patient and to initiate appropriate and timely interventions.

A combination of self directed learning and a range of clinical scenarios reinforcing the theoretical content.

Target Audience​RN, EN, Medical Staff
Pre requisite

​Staff must complete the 4hrs on-line learning before being booked into the scenario workshop.  Once you have completed both the course work and the workshop you will be given 8hrs professional development.

To access the on-line learning you will need to go to the healthLearn site.  If you do not already have an account, there are instructions on the front page of how to do this, under the Help Topics at the bottom of the page. Once you have completed the on-line course work you can book yourself into a workshop.  Please make sure you have your line manager approval prior.
