Palliative Care Study Day

​Aims/Purpose​The aim of the study day is to familiarise staff with illness trajectories, transitions, barriers and obstacles within palliative care.  To inform nurses of the differing needs of patients in their terminal phase and to update staff on symptom management in palliative care.

Target Audience​Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with an interest in palliative care and patient advocacy.  Priority will be given to nursing staff who have not attended a palliative care study day within the last two years.
