The role of the Hospital Advisory Committee (HAC) is to monitor the financial and operational performance of the hospitals (and related services) of the Canterbury DHB; to assess strategic issues relating to the provision of hospital services by or through the Canterbury DHB; and to give the Board advice and recommendations on that monitoring and assessment.
The Board appoints members to the Committee. The Committee comprises both Board members and members of the public. They have a statutory governance role.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any meeting, subject only to the right of the Committee to exclude the public from certain items of business, such as those that deal with matters of privacy or commercial sensitivity.
Agenda papers are published on this page approximately two days before a meeting.
Previous HAC agenda papers can be viewed in the document library.
If you wish to view agenda papers from earlier years, please contact Anna Craw, Board Secretariat.
