The role of the Community & Public Health and Disability Support Advisory Committee (CPH&DSAC) is to give the Board advice on the needs of the resident population, including disability support needs, and any factors the Committee believes may adversely affect the population health status; and priorities for the use of the health funding provided, including disability support funding.
The Board appoints members to the Committee. The Committee comprises both Board members and members of the public. They have a statutory governance role.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any meeting, subject only to the right of the Committee to exclude the public from certain items of business, such as those that deal with matters of privacy or commercial sensitivity.
