Current Chatham Islands Health Centre COVID-19 visitor guidelines

When visiting a patient at Chatham Islands Health Centre:

Unless otherwise stated locally – one nominated person from the patient’s bubble may visit once per day at a time agreed a by the health centre team, and must be the only visitor for the duration of the patient’s stay in hospital.

Exceptions: The Clinical Nurse Manager will consider exceptions on compassionate grounds on a case by case basis, for example, visiting someone receiving end of life care.

  • Health Centre: 8:00am-4:30pm
  • General Practice: 09:00am - 12:00pm noon
