Patient and visitor guidelines at Alert Level 1

Alert Level 1 guidelines are now in place at Christchurch Outpatients. Please check our COVID-19 page for the latest information.

Christchurch Outpatients is the new outpatients facility at Christchurch Hospital. It provides a wide range of outpatient services over 5 floors of a new building.

Christchurch Outpatients main entrance is at 2 Oxford Terrace. Please check your outpatient appointment letter to make sure you end up where you’re meant to be for your appointment.

The Emergency Department is for serious emergencies only, not for long-standing or minor injuries or illnesses which can be treated by your family general practice team or an after hours clinic.
