Waikari Hospital

Waikari Hospital is located in Waikari village, approximately one hour's drive north of Christchurch on State Highway 1 and inland from Waipara.

The hospital is set in beautiful grounds overlooking the Alps. Waikari Hospital meets the needs of the local community as well as covering a large rural district including continuing care of the elderly, general medical, surgical rehabilitation, carer support, respite care and palliative care. Note: Maternity services are not available at Waikari Hospital.
