David acknowledges the Canterbury healthcare professionals who received Queen’s Birthday Honours. He also shares the results of Operation Ted, a special collaboration between Canterbury DHB, Christchurch City Council and Canterbury Linen Services to rescue, wash and gift hundreds of soft toys left among the tributes for the Christchurch terror attack. This issue also looks at the change from plastic to paper pottles to help save the environment and reduce costs, promotes the new Canterbury Resilience Hub for post-disaster support, explores the work of the home intravenous service, and much more.
