In this update Peter warmly welcomes three new executive team members and acknowledges the upcoming retirement of Evon Currie, the General Manager of Community and Public Health. He also reflects on his visit to the very busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provides a COVID-19 vaccination update. Finally, Peter offers thanks to the teams of people who managed contingency planning and ensured that life preserving services (LPS) were provided during the NZNO strike last week.
Also in this edition we see an honour bestowed on our Communications leader, more of our vulnerable seniors vaccinated against COVID-19 and a plan around the retirement of the DHB’s fax machines.
