Falls are the most common cause of injury for people 65 years or older, and falls make up two thirds of all ACC claims for people over 85.
Falling injuries can have a huge negative impact on someone's life – causing them long-term pain and long recoveries as well as reducing confidence and independence.
As a carer or whānau, there is a lot you can do to reduce the risk for people you care for.
