It’s Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), and Peter is chatting to Executive Lead for Māori and Pacific Health Hector Matthews, who has contributed an article on the importance of te reo Māori. Check out the video for more on Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori and Peter’s pepeha. Peter also acknowledges the Canterbury DHB’s surgical teams for successfully managing elective surgeries during Alert Levels 4 and 3 and thanks Canterbury Health Laboratories for stepping up during the recent surge in COVID-19 testing.
