From Thursday 21 September, 24 Hour Surgery will close to patients each day between 10pm and 8am the following day. This is a temporary solution to our current staff shortages, and we will be returning to a 24 hour service as soon as we are able to safely do so. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
You can go to 24 Hour Surgery for any urgent medical issue that you would otherwise see your GP for, as well as accident related injuries such as sprains, cuts or broken bones.
If you think you have broken a bone, the 24 Hour Surgery also has a specialised fracture service instead of going to hospital.
Please note: Kids under 14 have free medical visits after hours (after 6pm weekdays and during weekends) and Community Services Card holders pay less.
It's less than 5km to Christchurch Hospital if your condition changes and the Unichem Bealey Avenue Pharmacy is next door to the clinic and open 9am-10pm every day.
