In this edition of the CEO Update

Canterbury is on track to reach half a million COVID-19 vaccination doses this week. Peter talks about how our more than 103 fixed and mobile clinics are reaching our rangatahi (young people), ethnic minorities and diverse communities including a walk-in clinic at The Princess Margaret Hospital. We look back at a very successful Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori and put in a call out for participants to compete in the upcoming Canterbury Healthcare Challenge. Peter also shares his meeting with the leads of our Cancer Services – an area working very hard to deliver timely care under tremendous demand.

Also in this edition are stories about some of our tailored COVID-19 vaccination clinics, robotic technology in ISG and fantastic sensory packs that are benefitting young people and their whānau who access Child, Adolescent and Family (CAF) outpatient services
